Jesus left Gennesaret and withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. Then out came a Canaanite woman from that district and started shouting, ‘Sir, Son of David, take pity on me. My daughter is tormented by a devil.’

Does a mother or would a mother ever stop praying for a troubled child? Absolutely not, this actually reminds me of the passage in the Hebrew Scriptures which says “even if a mother forgets her child, I will never forget you..” God is saying in the strongest way that He will not forget Israel just as it is impossible for a mother to forget her child.

Anyway this mother brought her child to the Lord. She a Canaanite woman had not slept in forever because her baby was tormented. We don’t even know if her daughter was a believer or accepted Jesus but what we know is this: Mama prayed!!!

Do not get tired of praying for your babies. God will answer and give you peace. I know this, the demons of our times have gotten more stubborn and complicated. These can only be driven out by prayer and fasting….. and some therapy
