Luke 9:18-22

One day when Jesus was praying alone in the presence of his disciples he put this question to them, ‘Who do the crowds say I am?’

One thing I remember vividly from my childhood is seeing mama pray the rosary. She absolutely believed in praying her rosary everyday. She did not kneel to pray it or say it out loud but we all saw the rosary in her hand as she moved from bead to bead. I have failed Grayson in that regard. I think our children need to see that prayer is important.

Our Lord prayed regularly. Prayer was important to him. At one time his disciples even asked him to teach them how to pray. Today I want to encourage you to go out in nature and talk to your God. I know that I could use a conversation with God about how this life is unfolding. Our true identity will be revealed to us more clearly when we pray!
