Luke 9:1-6

Jesus called the Twelve together and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.

Where is the need today? Where do you plan to bring healing? This scripture passage serves to remind me of my mission. Sometimes I get distracted and go about doing many other things but I forget that primarily, I am a healer!!! You are a healer!!!

Healing is indeed tough and challenging work but God has blessed us with the power to do it. Our world, our country needs healing. The political divide in our nation could be a good starting place. It does not begin with the other, it begins with me. Maybe it is not politics for you, maybe for you it is mending a broken relationship. Let it begin with you. Yes sometimes we get tired of being the one to stretch out the hard first. I get that, but my friend how else will we heal if you don’t become the bigger person. Remember you have been given power by our Lord to do this. Give healing your best shot.
